Her first memory was of his hunger.

A deep wrenching ache coring at the inner walls of his flesh, always begging for relief but nevertheless cannot be acknowledged,

not when it is so starkly reflected in the pale, drawn faces all around him.

Inmates Are Running The AsylumI spotted him in the corner booth.  He was drinking alone, as usual; and as usual, I kept quiet when his eyes roamed to places unfit for polite company.  Devon took note of this, and grinned drunkenly at me, although I knew he wasn't as intoxicated as he seemed.  Eclavdra's silver eyes flashed from me to the corner and back to me again, and she nodded at me with her 'just give me the word' smile.  Maxwell stopped me to take my jacket and kiss my hand- he was always such a gentleman.

Past the sturdy oaken tables where sat members of the noble Highcastle family, past the open space where a dead king danced with a dark elf, past a half-elven piInmates Are Running The Asylum by ~SmirkingLibertine
Such a Quiet ThingHe said he had noticed her from the first, but she didn’t believe him.

He was tall, golden, with midnight hair and laughing brown eyes. He had an easy walk and easier laugh. People flocked to him, without even realizing it, perhaps. The Force danced around him in merry sunshine hues of yellow and orange and wrapped around everyone near him, holding them safe and close.

She was small, quiet and serious. She never did see how her own band of brilliant greens, precise and ordered, soothed those around her. She stayed with the books and lived through history. She didn’t mind, though. She loved the hunt for answers through the strands Such a Quiet Thing by ~Uilleand

Why am I a Star Wars fan?Why am I a Star Wars fan?

That's a tough question. But here's a few reasons.

- Because at 4 years old, with a broken leg, sitting in a wheel chair in the middle of the aisle, with no one in front of me, I watched Return of the Jedi and was absolutely in awe, forming my 2nd earliest clear memory (second only to breaking my leg)

- Because squads of guys in white armor look really cool.

- Because The Millenium Falcon could outrace the Enterprise anyday.

- Because a farm boy from a desert planet can save the universe.

- Because I still have the same toys I had as a kid, and I wouldn't sell any of them.

BONG~. The sky above Dxun was as bright as day: lightening clashed through the fog and mist of heavy rain. Large explosions and thunders caused the air vibrated and the ground quaked.

BONG~, GABONG~. More explosions from the jungles below. The shockwaves almost knocked them off air. Several Plasmas fired past them and hit the nearby drop ships.
